I was a journalist first, and that plays a big part in each of my weddings. Every wedding day is like a story, filled with a wide range of emotions, and I’m here to capture them: from happy tears to swing-dancing aunts.
I’m here for the no-fuss and low-stress brides and grooms — the ones whose I Do’s aren’t necessarily about wedding themes or color schemes, but about sentimental touches, beautiful places, and loved ones from far away — the couple that wants effortless artistry in their photography, and to have the story of their day before them to relive forever.
Photography is the one expressive art form that lets us trap a fleeting moment in time forever. Those moments become our memories. How cool is that? I’ve been told I capture those “atypical moments” at weddings. Those moments you didn’t expect, but now you can’t live without.
I love cheese, but only for eating. We won’t do anything awkward, over-posed and, for lack of a better word, cringey. I’m all about those real, pitter-patter of the heart moments. I want you to look back on your wedding photos for years to come and still be proud of what they are, and who you are in them. My style is expressively authentic. My images are natural and emotional, both in style and direction. I, of course, direct you so you don’t get lost, but it will always be you as you are.
Each wedding day, as we send off the happy couple, I am with the crowd. Happy tears, cheering, and all. I don’t feel like a vendor in that moment. Because in that moment, I am sending off my two new friends into their married life, and I am so, so happy for them.
When you work with me, I’ll be honest with you. I’ll have fun with you. I’ll make things easy for you. We’ll laugh a lot. Odds are, we’ll dance. We may cry. Nothing is off the table. Rain, shine, mud, snow: just show up, and be you, and I promise I’ll have a damn good time with y’all from start to finish.

I truly wish my dog could have written my bio, because then there’s no doubt you would think I’m the coolest person in the world.
As it stands, I’m half nerd, half-artist. I can create emotional, artful photography, all the while talking to you about my hard-researched opinions on everything true crime and Game of Thrones.
I finally figured out how to keep more than one plant alive, and my home has quickly morphed into a jungle. My cat is deciding how he feels — he will keep you posted. He does, however, love our loft in Cabbagetown, Atlanta, where I make my home. I live with my boyfriend/best friend, and our two fur babies. We love exploring new places together and laughing one hard hell of a lot. I like documenting love because I’ve learned quite a bit about it. FYI: there’s a lot of goofiness to be felt — that’s one of the best parts.
My drink of choice is either malbec or a Moscow mule. It has nothing to do with the alliteration, I promise. I enjoy stalking celebrities on Instagram as much, if not more, than the next young woman, and I love every otter in the world.
I’m inspired by sunsets just as much as sunrises, the color green, the way my dog looks at me, traveling as much as I possibly can, my parents, love in all forms, strong women, strong coffee, and (of course), a really, really good story.
What do we wear to our photoshoot?
Before our shoot, I'll send you a more detailed email, but generally speaking, simple and comfortable is best! No need to get too dressy. Wear what makes you feel nice, but what you might normally wear. Feel like you!
Can we have the RAW/unedited images?
Nope! I don't give out RAW or unedited files. Most likely, you hired me at least in part due to my editing style, and you can trust I will only deliver the very best images.
How many images will we receive?
I don't like to say a hard number, because each package and shoot is different. But, you can bet I will work my butt off to capture the day/event to the absolute wholeness that I can, and deliver as many great images as possible. I am an overshooter, usually! :)
Do you travel?
Oh honey, yes! Please, send me an email with your travel plans and let's chat!
What is your typical turnaround time?
For photoshoots, my normal turnaround time is 7-14 days (depending on the business of my current season). For weddings, my turnaround time is 4-6 weeks.
I hate being in front of the camera! Can you help us?
I've got you -- from beginning to end, I've got you. As you can probably tell, my style is natural and authentic to who you really are as human beings. I won't ever make you do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, cheesy, or awkward. I will direct you, so you know what to do in general, but everything will feel smooth and real.
How do I book with you?
I'm so happy you want to work together! For photoshoots and weddings, I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit and a signed contract to protect both of us. For weddings, the remaining amount is due 60 days before the wedding date.
